Job summary

Illinois Electric Works is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide on-site service for electric motors, blowers, pumps, gearboxes, fans, compressors, and dust collectors at customer facilities.

The role includes motor removal/installation, inspections, and troubleshooting. Applicants should have 3–5+ years of industrial mechanical experience, own tools, and a valid driver’s license. Applicants must be willing to travel and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5+ years of mechanical experience with industrial equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
• Own your own general personal hand tools.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site service for electric motors, blowers, pumps, gearboxes, fans, compressors, and dust collectors.
• Perform motor removal/installation and general condition inspections.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and inspect equipment at customer facilities.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings; communicate with customers.
