Job summary

HireNow Staffing, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Field Service Engineer to serve as the primary technical representative at customer facilities across the United States and Canada.

You will install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial manufacturing equipment, while training customers and ensuring startup success. Ideal candidates have electromechanical troubleshooting expertise, strong communication, and the ability to travel extensively (60-80%).

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering preferred; equivalent industrial field service experience will also be considered.
• Strong electromechanical troubleshooting skills involving industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to independently diagnose electrical and mechanical failures.
• Experience servicing industrial machinery, automation systems, or capital equipment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to travel 60-80% throughout the United States and Canada.
• Ability to complete onboarding and technical training in Smyrna, Georgia.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Valid driver's license with the ability to travel by air and automobile.

Responsibilities

• Travel extensively throughout the United States and Canada to support customer installations and service requirements.
• Install, commission, and verify operational readiness of industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance programs that maximize equipment reliability and performance.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automation-related equipment issues.
• Conduct corrective maintenance and emergency service repairs while minimizing customer downtime.
• Support equipment startups, customer acceptance testing, and production validation.
• Document service activities, technical findings, repair recommendations, and equipment performance.
• Build professional relationships with customer maintenance teams, engineers, and production personnel.
• Participate in machine testing, equipment trials, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a high standard of safety, professionalism, and technical excellence while representing the organization in the field.
