Job summary

HAHN Automation Group US, Inc. seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and troubleshoot automated equipment at customer sites.

You will provide technical support during warranty and non-warranty phases, with emphasis on mechanical and electrical diagnostics and control system upgrades. You will travel domestically and internationally as required, mentoring junior staff and contributing to software validation and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3–5+ years in a similar field service/automation role.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and controls systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment at customer sites.
• Provide technical support during warranty and non-warranty phases with diagnostics focus.
• Assist with software validation protocols to confirm machine control software safety and performance.
