The role offers extensive travel, competitive starting salary ($60,000–$75,000), per diem, bonuses, and a path for growth through paid training and merit raises; relocation not required, but you must live within 50 miles of a major airport.

Qualifications

• Must have a technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering.
• 3+ years of related field experience.
• Willingness to travel and work away from home on rotation.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Live within 50 miles of a major airport.

Responsibilities

• Support data center startups with on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks.
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse and manufacturing systems.
• Partner with automation and controls engineers to test and troubleshoot on-site.
• Provide clear updates to customers and project teams.
• Travel schedule follows a 5 on – 2 off, 10 on – 4 off, or 14 on – 7 off rotation.
• Work with customers and ProAutomated teams on various projects.
