Job summary

ProAutomated is seeking curious, adaptable problem-solvers for a travel-heavy field service role across North America. You will support data center startups, lead warehouse and manufacturing system tests, and collaborate with automation engineers on-site.

We offer a four-week paid training program, a starting salary of $60,000–$75,000 depending on location, plus per diem, mileage reimbursement, bonuses, and opportunities for advancement. Must be able to travel and work nationwide.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to travel and work on-site across North America.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills are required.
• Adaptability to changing schedules and environments is essential.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support data center startups with on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks.
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse and manufacturing systems.
• Collaborate with engineers to test, troubleshoot, and validate systems on-site.
• Provide clear updates to customers and project teams throughout deployments.
• Follow travel rotations (e.g., 5 on/2 off, 10 on/4 off, 14 on/7 off) across locations.
