ProAutomated is seeking curious, adaptable problem-solvers for a travel‑driven field service role across North America. You will join a team that values knowing each person by name and will support automation projects in data centers and manufacturing sites, with a four‑week paid training and a path for growth.
The starting salary ranges from $60,000 to $75,000, plus per diem, mileage reimbursement, and bonuses.
Qualifications
- Must have a technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering.
- Preferred knowledge of electrical systems, programming, and communication networking.
Responsibilities
- Support data center startups, performing on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks.
- Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse fulfillment and manufacturing systems.
- Partner with automation and controls engineers to test and troubleshoot on-site.
- Provide clear communication and updates to customers and project teams.
- Travel with rotating schedules (5 on/2 off, 10 on/4 off, or 14 on/7 off) to various locations.
