Job summary

ProAutomated is seeking travel-ready field engineers for US/Canada deployments. You’ll join a compact, people-first team that values hands-on work and customer-facing problem solving.

You’ll operate across North America, staying in multiple cities, with four-week paid training and a structured growth path. Starting salary ranges from $60,000 to $75,000, plus per diem and bonuses, with relocation support as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in related field such as electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, programming, and communication networking.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel and be away from home on rotation.

Responsibilities

• Support data center startups, performing on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks.
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse fulfillment and manufacturing systems.
• Partner with automation and controls engineers to test, troubleshoot, and validate systems on-site.
• Provide clear communication and updates to customers and project teams to keep progress smooth and accurate.
• Typical travel rotations follow a days on - off schedule: 5 on - 2 off, 10 on – 4 off, or 14 on – 7 off.
