Job summary

ARCO National Construction Company is seeking a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale data center projects from inception to completion. You will partner with owners, design teams, and internal leadership to align scope, budget, schedule, and risk while managing GMP/lump sum contracts and forecasting costs.

Travel to project sites will be required, and you will oversee safety, quality, and contractual obligations while developing and managing the project’s financials.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of project management experience, including at least 3 years in data center or mission-critical projects.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and their integration in mission-critical environments.
• Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, and subcontractor performance.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
• Proficiency in construction management software and scheduling tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of large-scale, mission-critical data center projects from preconstruction through punch list.
• Partner with owners, design teams, and internal leadership to align scope, budget, schedule, and risk.
• Manage GMP/lump sum contracts, change management, and cost forecasting throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive coordination across structural, architectural, MEP, and vendor scopes with a strong focus on critical path activities.
• Ensure project compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and contractual obligations.
• Develop and oversee project financials.
• Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation plans to protect schedule and budget.
• Support commissioning and turnover activities to ensure successful delivery to the owner.
• Serve as the primary point of accountability for project outcomes.

A Day In The Life
