Job summary

ARCO National Construction Company is seeking a Project Manager to lead construction projects from inception to completion on site in the United States. You will be responsible for estimating, proposal preparation, contract negotiations, scheduling, budgeting, design review, and execution while coordinating with owners and the design team to develop preliminary concepts.

Applicants should have 3–5 years of construction experience with a general contractor (design/build preferred) and proficiency

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of construction experience running projects with a general contractor; design/build preferred.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g. Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project)
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managerial aspects of a project including estimating, proposal preparation, contract negotiations, scheduling, budgeting, design review, and execution
• Work closely with owners and design team to develop preliminary concept drawings
• Participate in proposal meeting with owner to review the scope of work and provide value engineering ideas
• Oversee the buyout process and selection of subcontractors
• Conduct biweekly jobsite meetings
• Partner with Superintendent to ensure safety, quality control, and schedule
• Make sound decisions under tight deadlines
