Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a field-based General Maintenance Technician to support maintenance across assigned stores. You will travel to sites, address entry-level repairs, and prevent maintenance issues by coordinating with store leadership.

Proactive communication, problem-solving, and the ability to document work in CMMS are essential. Flexibility for occasional after-hours work and up to 100% travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to store sites to address maintenance concerns reported by leadership.
• Troubleshoot and verify asset information for on-site projects and solutions.
• Support entry level maintenance including basic exterior and safety checks.
• Document tickets and resolutions within the designated time frames.
• Provide training to root causes of issues when necessary.
• Occasional after-hours work may be required based on urgency.
• On-site checklists to determine preventative maintenance opportunities.
