Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a field-based General Maintenance Technician to support assigned stores within a geographic area. You will respond to maintenance tickets, perform preventative maintenance, and document work in CMMS while partnering with store leadership to address entry-level repairs and prolong equipment life.

Travel to sites, troubleshoot issues, capture asset data, and educate leadership on best practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or applicable experience.
• Active Driver’s License.
• Willingness to travel up to 100%.

Responsibilities

• Travel to store locations to address maintenance issues.
• Troubleshoot and document asset information for on-site service.
• Support entry-level maintenance and preventative tasks.
• Document tickets and resolve within required timeframes.
• Conduct training to identify root causes when needed.
• Occasional after-hours work may be required.
• Educate store leadership on maintenance processes.
