Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Construction Field Engineer to support Field Operations on projects in the Greater Washington DC area and Homer City, PA. You will help plan, organize, and execute project engineering and controls tasks, collaborating with teams to deliver quality infrastructure work.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a construction-related field or equivalent, 2+ years of vertical construction experience, strong communication, leadership and planning skills, and willingness to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field or equivalent experience/education.
• At least 2 years of experience in the construction field, preferably vertical construction.
• Working knowledge of scheduling CPM, unit man-hour performance, material control, estimating and subcontracts.
• Proven leadership and people management, strong communication, planning and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel and relocate as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpretation of drawings and specs for field crews and supervision.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and measurements for completed/installed work.
• Assist in preparing work plans, packages, and JHA’s.
• Support field surveying, elevations, and as-built data collection.
• Enter data into job cost systems and assist in cost reporting.
