Jobot is seeking a Field Engineer in Houston, TX for a fully traveling, on-site role in modular building construction. You will manage field documentation, schedules, and subcontractor coordination, while supporting costs, reporting, and quality control.

Traveling 100% with potential progression to Field Project Manager, this position emphasizes proactive communication and rigorous documentation. The role requires 2–4 years of field construction experience, a relevant degree, OSHA 30, and

Competenze

• 2–4 years of relevant construction or field experience.
• Willingness to travel and work 100% onsite.
• Proficiency with project documentation and scheduling software.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.

Mansioni

• Document Control: manage RFIs, submittals, drawing revisions, meeting minutes and distribution.
• Site Operations and Scheduling: track materials against delivery schedules and installation plans.
• Financial Support: review reports, draft purchase orders, assist with change orders.
• Subcontractor Coordination, Quality, and Safety: monitor compliance and safety procedures.
• Scope of Authority: manage records, issue purchase orders, and train junior staff.
