Job summary

Ryan Companies Inc. is seeking an entry-level Field Engineer for mission-critical projects requiring travel to multiple sites (Atlanta, Phoenix, Milwaukee, Lubbock, IN, South Bend).

You will assist the project team under supervision, learn field and office operations, and understand how tasks connect to completed construction. A four-year degree in a construction-related field is required, with strong ownership and interfacing abilities.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree required, preferably in construction related field.
• Ability to assume responsibility and interface with project teams.

Responsibilities

• Shop drawing coordination.
• Office/field support staff coordination.
• Estimating and quantity take off.
• Purchase necessary materials to complete assigned tasks.
• Maintain material and equipment inventory at project site.
• Schedule monitoring and updating.
• Monitor subcontracts, subcontractor schedules relative to material deliveries and manpower.
• Involvement in preparing billings and reviewing invoices.
