Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Field Engineer to support our project team under the supervision of the Superintendent and Project Manager.

This position focuses on learning field and office operations and connecting those efforts to the physical construction of the project. You will coordinate shop drawings, support office and field staff, assist with estimating and takeoffs, purchases, inventory, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and billing reviews, with opportunities

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree in construction or related field is required.
• Ability to assume responsibility and interface with project team.
• Entry-level role with supported training and development.

Responsibilities

• Shop drawing coordination.
• Office/field support staff.
• Estimating and quantity take off.
• Purchase necessary materials to complete assigned tasks.
• Maintain material and equipment inventory at project site.
• Schedule monitoring and updating.
• Monitor assigned subcontracts, subcontractor schedules relative to material deliveries and subcontractor manpower.
• Significant involvement in preparing billings and reviewing invoices.
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
