Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Field Engineer to assist the project team in Phoenix, AZ, reporting to the Superintendent with support to the Project Manager.

The role aims to educate the employee in field and office operations and show how these relate to the physical construction of the project. Responsibilities include shop drawing coordination, office/field support, estimating and quantity take-off, purchasing materials, inventory management, scheduling, subcontractor

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree required, preferably in construction related field.
• Entry-level role learning field and office operations.

Responsibilities

• Shop drawing coordination.
• Office/field support staff.
• Estimating and quantity take off.
• Purchase necessary materials to complete assigned tasks.
• Maintain material and equipment inventory at project site.
• Schedule monitoring and updating.
• Monitor assigned subcontracts, subcontractor schedules relative to material deliveries and subcontractor manpower.
• Significant involvement in preparing billings and reviewing invoices.
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
