Job summary

Network Connex is seeking a Foreman to lead a fiber optic crew on projects across varied environments. You will supervise 2–3 technicians, interpret customer prints, and ensure safety, schedule, and quality. Proficiency with Fujikura splicers and EXFO testing is essential.

You will drive live-network splicing, perform mid-sheath techniques, and produce detailed documentation and reports for project closure. A CFOT or equivalent certification is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold fiber optic splicing certification (FOA CFOT or equivalent).
• Experience leading a crew on fiber infrastructure projects.
• Strong troubleshooting and live-network repair skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office for documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2–3 crew members to complete splicing and testing tasks safely and on schedule.
• Interpret prints, plan tasks, and coordinate with Project Manager.
• Perform high-count fiber splicing (864ct/1728ct/3456ct) and OTDR/OLTS testing.
• Document progress with photos and FastReporter reports.
