Job summary

Actalent seeks a Traveling Construction Federal Project Manager to oversee multiple federal design-build and DBB projects from planning to closeout. The role requires coordinating with USACE and NAVFAC, and extensive nationwide travel to sites as projects progress.

This full-time, onsite position based in Denver demands leadership across field and office teams, ensuring schedule, budget, and quality, with strict OSHA/EM 385 compliance and liaison with federal agencies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction with mix of field and PM experience.
• Experience with federal design-build and DBB projects preferred.
• Able to obtain/maintain DISCO Secret clearance or higher.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large contracts ($500k–$25M).
• Proficient with project management software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple federal construction projects from planning through closeout.
• Manage schedules, budgets, and deliverables per USACE/NAVFAC standards.
• Conduct regular site visits and provide on-site leadership.
• Coordinate with engineers, subs, and field teams to maintain momentum.
• Lead meetings and provide progress updates to stakeholders.
• Support business development and preconstruction activities.
