Job summary

Conti Federal Services is seeking a Project Manager to lead the project team and work with Field Management to build safe, high quality, profitable projects for the U.S. government.

The PM will manage safety plans, negotiations, risk, cost estimation, contract management and the full P&L, while developing client relations and pursuing new work opportunities.

This role supports a fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth and promotion within Conti Federal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or related field.
• Five or more years of experience as a Project Manager on construction projects of this size and scope.
• Must be familiar with EM 385-1-1 and secure facility construction.
• Strong ability to interpret critical path schedules and construction drawings.
• MS Office and P6 experience.

Responsibilities

• Passionately builds the team by attracting, interviewing, assessing, mentoring and retaining Top Performers.
• Leads safety policies and addresses non-compliance.
• Promotes communication to resolve issues and keep projects profitable.
• Leads development of the project schedule with the Superintendent.
• Manages invoicing, receivables, and change orders to maximize cash flow.
• Negotiates change orders and owner-initiated work.
• Develops client relations to generate opportunities for new work.
• Participates in Marketing and Estimating activities to develop capture plans.
• Other duties as assigned.
