Job summary

Cardinal Group Companies is seeking a Manager, Traveling Facilities to supervise on-site maintenance across multiple communities. You will train staff, coordinate preventive maintenance, inspect properties, and manage work orders while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

The role requires 3–5 years in maintenance/property management, HVAC/EPA/CPO certifications, and strong leadership. Expect heavy travel and close collaboration with regional teams, with housing allowances and education

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of maintenance industry and property management experience.
• Certifications: HVAC, EPA 608, and CPO.
• Formal training or experience in HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and related maintenance tasks.
• Ability to interpret written and oral direction with a proactive problem-solving approach.
• Independently lead projects and work as part of a team.
• Strong time management, organization, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site maintenance personnel and training.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Coordinate maintenance and capital improvements for budgets.
• Monitor maintenance expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Communicate maintenance issues to management and stakeholders.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain preventive maintenance records and work orders.
• Lead regional roundstables and coordinate with maintenance staff.
