Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a Travelling Support Executive Chef to lead culinary operations across the region, deployed to locations when chefs are transitioning or during openings. You will ensure food quality, safety, and cost discipline while providing executive-level culinary leadership on site.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in high‑quality food service, with a track record of managing kitchen teams, and a willingness to travel up to 85% across the Midwest and other accounts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive culinary leadership experience in high‑quality food service environments.
• Experience leading kitchens and opening programs across multiple sites.
• Strong financial acumen with P&L accountability and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Deploy to locations nationwide to provide senior culinary leadership.
• Stabilize operations during leadership gaps and ensure culinary standards.
• Maintain food quality, safety, and compliance across deployed sites.
• Lead new openings and support program-wide culinary initiatives.
• Mentor site chefs and develop culinary bench strength.
