Job summary

AIS Infrastructure Group is seeking an Excavator Operator to safely operate trackhoes and excavators for earthmoving on heavy civil projects. This role requires strong equipment knowledge, safety adherence, and teamwork, with travel across the Southeast as part of a dedicated team.

Minimum 5 years of heavy equipment experience and 3 years on large trackhoes are required, along with a valid driver's license and GPS familiarity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience operating heavy construction equipment.
• Minimum 3 years on large trackhoes.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance for secured facilities (including military bases).
• Proficient in operating a variety of construction equipment.
• Familiarity with GPS and construction technology.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain heavy construction equipment, specifically trackhoes and other excavators, for earthmoving on heavy civil projects.
• Follow project plans, blueprints, and instructions to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Safely load, transport, and unload materials using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Collaborate with project teams to coordinate equipment operations and meet deadlines.
