Job summary

AIS Infrastructure Group is seeking an Excavator Operator to safely operate heavy construction equipment, including trackhoes, for earthmoving on civil projects. You will follow plans, perform maintenance, and coordinate with teams while traveling as needed in the Southeast.

Laughter of a strong safety mindset and the ability to work independently and with a crew will help you succeed in this role. A valid driver's license and security clearance eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience operating heavy construction equipment.
• Minimum 3 years on large trackhoes.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance for access to secured facilities.
• Proficient in operating a variety of construction equipment and interpreting plans.
• Familiarity with GPS and construction technology is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain heavy construction equipment, including trackhoes for earthmoving on projects.
• Follow project plans, blueprints, and instructions to complete tasks efficiently.
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Safely load, transport, and unload materials using appropriate equipment.
• Collaborate with project teams to coordinate equipment operations and meet deadlines.
