Job summary

AIS Infrastructure Group is seeking an Excavator Operator to safely operate and maintain trackhoes and other excavators on heavy civil construction projects across the Southeast. The role requires adherence to safety standards and collaboration with project teams to meet deadlines.

Candidates should have 5+ years of experience with heavy equipment, including 3+ years on large trackhoes, and possess a valid driver's license. Travel willingness is essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years operating heavy construction equipment, with at least 3 years on large trackhoes.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance to access secured facilities.
• Valid driver's license.
• Familiarity with GPS and other construction technology.
• Ability to interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain heavy construction equipment, specifically trackhoes, for earthmoving on heavy civil projects.
• Follow project plans, blueprints, and instructions to complete tasks accurately.
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on equipment.
• Safely load, transport, and unload materials using appropriate equipment.
• Collaborate with project teams to coordinate operations and meet deadlines.
