Job summary

CD&H, Inc. is seeking a dependable Equipment Operator for a traveling position across multiple project sites. The role requires safe operation of construction equipment and collaboration with the crew to support various activities on site.

The operator must be willing to travel to project locations, maintain safety standards, and follow project plans and client requirements. A valid driver’s license is required, and a CDL is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating construction equipment preferred.
• Ability to work safely around crew and site activities.
• Willingness to travel to project locations and follow project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate excavators, loaders, dozers, skid steers, rollers and similar equipment.
• Perform pre-use inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow supervisor instructions, JSAs, and client safety requirements.
• Assist crew with excavation, grading, material handling and other tasks.
• Remain aware of surroundings and maintain clean, orderly jobsite.
