CD&H, Inc. is seeking a dependable Equipment Operator for travel-based construction projects across civil, industrial, and refinery sites. The role requires safe operation of equipment and adaptability to various locations and schedules.

The ideal candidate has prior equipment experience, a valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required), and a safety-minded approach. Travel and physical work are essential to this position with shifting project sites.

Responsabilidades

• Safely operate excavators, loaders, dozers, skid steers, rollers and other equipment as qualified.
• Complete pre-use inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow project plans, JSAs, and client safety requirements.
• Support excavation, grading, material handling and other construction activities.
• Maintain awareness of workers, vehicles, utilities, and changing conditions on site.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean and orderly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Equipment Operator – Traveling Position

Position Summary

CD&H is seeking a dependable Equipment Operator to support civil, industrial, and refinery construction projects. This is a traveling position, and the operator must be willing to work at different project locations as assigned.

The Equipment Operator will safely operate construction equipment, assist the crew with daily work, and help maintain a clean and organized jobsite. The specific equipment used will vary based on project needs and the employee’s experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate construction equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, skid steers, rollers, and other equipment as qualified.
• Complete pre-use equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Follow supervisor instructions, project plans, job safety analyses (JSAs), and all company and client safety requirements.
• Work with crew members to support excavation, grading, material handling, and other construction activities.
• Maintain awareness of workers, vehicles, underground utilities, and changing jobsite conditions.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean and orderly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous construction equipment operating experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate equipment around crew members and other jobsite activity.
• Willingness to travel to project locations and work the schedule required by the project.
• Dependable attendance and a commitment to working safely.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
• A valid driver’s license is required. A CDL is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of construction work, including standing, walking, climbing, bending, and lifting as needed.
