Job summary

GROUP Contractors seeks an experienced Industrial Civil Operator to operate heavy equipment on outdoor industrial sites. You will set up machines, adjust settings, and move controls to complete tasks per specifications while following safety rules.

Requirements include 3+ years in the field as a Class-A Civil Operator, NCCER Certification, a valid TWIC card, and OSHA Basic Plus. Travel to multiple job sites may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial field experience as a Class-A Civil Operator.
• NCCER Certification or willingness to test.
• TWIC card and OSHA Basic Plus compliance.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates equipment.
• Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately and timely.
• Move levers to control diesel, electric, gasoline or steam-powered equipment.
• Interpret hand signals for material placement.
• Maintain safety compliance and observe rules.
• Load, transport, and unload materials and supplies.
• Inspect equipment for defects and report malfunctions.
