Job summary

Rack Electric in South Florida is seeking a traveling heavy equipment operator to support excavations across the state. You will leave Monday in a company vehicle and return Friday, keeping machines ready and safe.

Must have CDL Class A or B, clean license, and experience with excavators and skid steers. Proficiency with hand and power tools, plus teamwork and reliability, are essential for this full-time role with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Traveling position within the state of Florida - leave Monday morning in a company vehicle.
• Experience in maintaining equipment is a huge plus.
• Clean Driver’s License.
• CDL Class A or B.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Travel Monday - Friday; home on weekends.
• Ensure all equipment is ready and safe to use.
• Excavating jobs and ground crew support.
• Clean and quality-check machinery.
• Be a team player and assist the ground crew when needed.
