Rack Electric in South Florida seeks a traveling heavy equipment operator for our EV Division. Expect Monday departures with Friday returns; weekends at home, statewide Florida travel.

You will operate excavators and skid steers, perform basic maintenance, and assist the ground crew to ensure safe, efficient sites. CDL A or B and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Willing to travel within Florida; Monday departure, Friday return.
• CDL Class A or B license required.
• Experience maintaining equipment; safety checks and basic maintenance preferred.
• Clean driving record and valid license.

Responsabilités

• Travel within Florida; Monday morning departure, home on Friday.
• Prepare and dispatch equipment, ensure safety and readiness.
• Operate excavators and skid steers; assist ground crew as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and perform basic machinery checks.

Travel Monday - Friday. Home for weekends!

Ensure all equipment is ready and safe to use

• Excavating Jobs
• Must live in local area (Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Martin County)
• Must have heavy equipment operating experience
• Traveling Position within the state of Florida - Leave Monday morning in a company vehicle. Home on Friday.
• Able and willing to hop off machine and help the ground crew when needed
• Be a team player
• Ability to use hand and power tools

Requirements

• Traveling Position within the state of Florida - Leave Monday morning in a company vehicle. Home on Friday.
• Experience in maintaining equipment a huge plus
• Cleaning and quality-checking machinery to ensure everything works as it should.
• Clean Driver’s License
• CDL Class A or B
• Some Labor-Construction experience
• Drug-Free
