Job description

We are seeking an efficient and professional Electrician, preferably with commercial and/or industrial experience, who is willing to travel within the state of Florida. Typical travel is within Florida, working Monday‑Thursday (10‑hour days) with Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off.

Employees receive hotel, food, and company van paid for by the company. We specialize in generator installations, UPS systems, and other specialty electrical installations. Our electricians typically operate unsupervised in teams of two or three with an emphasis on high quality work and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment, wiring, panels, and components in commercial or industrial environments.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using meters, test equipment, and schematics to identify faults and restore operation.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce equipment failures and downtime.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to complete work accurately and safely.
  • Assemble, wire, and service control panels, motors, and low‑voltage systems as required by the job.
  • Ensure all work complies with NEC, OSHA, and company safety standards, maintaining a clean and safe work area.
  • Document repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities for tracking, reporting, and compliance purposes.
  • Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to plan work, communicate issues, and meet schedules.

  • Relevant education or equivalent experience.
