Job summary

Evergreen Fire and Security is seeking a Traveling Electronic Security Systems Technician in Fort Worth, TX. This role is ideal for an experienced low-voltage technician who enjoys frequent travel and hands-on installation, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm, access control, intrusion, CCTV, and related systems.

The position requires extensive travel, a valid CPR/First Aid card, an electrician certificate or trainee card, a high school diploma, and strong customer communication.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel extensively and support traveling assignments.
• CPR/First Aid card required.
• Valid electrician certificate or trainee card.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Electrical wiring experience.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Strong communication skills for customer interfacing.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of minimum liability insurance.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background, drug, and MVR screenings.
• Positive attitude and ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, test, and maintain security projects.
• Represent Evergreen on site with customers and provide training.
• Ensure safety by complying with State and Federal regulations.
• Handle service orders and project administration.
• Perform follow-up to confirm readiness for inspection.
