Job summary

Evergreen Fire and Security seeks a Traveling Electronic Security Systems Technician to install, service, and verify low-voltage security systems across multiple sites. You will interface with customers on site, train users, and ensure regulatory compliance while traveling frequently.

The role requires extensive travel, a valid electrician certificate or trainee card, CPR/First Aid, and a high school diploma. Microsoft Office skills and solid teamwork are expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to travel extensively and work onsite at multiple customer locations.
• Valid CPR/First Aid card is required.
• Valid electrician certificate or trainee card is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Electrical wiring experience is required.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Strong communication with customers is essential.
• Ability to schedule appointments, follow instructions, and understand codes.
• Attention to detail and autonomous work attitude.
• Ability to work well with others and maintain a positive attitude.
• Valid driver’s license and minimum liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, tests, and maintains security projects.
• Serves as the face of Evergreen to customers onsite and provides product training.
• Ensures safety through compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Handles service orders and project administration.
• Performs follow-up to ensure client readiness for inspection.
