Job summary

Evergreen Fire and Security seeks a Traveling Electronic Security Systems Technician to install, service, and test security projects across client sites. The role involves extensive travel and direct customer interaction to ensure high service standards.

Candidates should hold a high school diploma or equivalent and have electrical wiring experience, with a valid driver’s license and the ability to pass background checks. OSHA/CPR may be beneficial; government-contract experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to travel extensively and interface with customers on site.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail required.
• Autonomy to work with minimal supervision and follow instructions.
• Ability to schedule appointments and understand code requirements.
• Clean background and valid driver’s license with insurance.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, tests, and maintains security projects.
• Represents Evergreen to customers on site with training and support.
• Ensures safety by complying with state and federal regulations.
• Manages service orders and project administration.
• Performs follow-up to ensure client readiness for inspection.
