Job summary

Evergreen Fire and Security is seeking an Electronic Security Systems Technician in Virginia for a travel-heavy, on-site role supporting government and commercial projects.

Qualifications

• Qualification as a low-voltage technician with travel readiness.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Valid electrician certificate or trainee card is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with electrical wiring.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Strong communication and customer interfacing skills.
• Ability to call and schedule appointments and understand code requirements.
• Detail-oriented and able to work autonomously.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Valid driver’s license and liability insurance.
• Pre-employment and random background, drug, and MVR screenings.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. government clearance.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, tests, and maintains security projects.
• Serves as the face of Evergreen to customers onsite with service and training.
• Ensures safety by complying with state and federal regulations.
• Handles service orders and project administration.
• Performs follow-up to ensure client is ready for inspection.
