Job summary

Evergreen Fire and Security seeks a Traveling Electronic Security Systems Technician for nationwide travel. You will install, repair, test, and maintain security projects while representing the company onsite with customers and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires an electrician credential or trainee status, CPR/First Aid, a high school diploma, and strong communication; travel is extensive and background checks are required. Competitive pay and travel perks are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be able to travel extensively.
• Valid CPR/First Aid card required.
• Valid electrician certificate or trainee card required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Electrical wiring experience required.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Strong communication to interface with customers.
• Ability to schedule appointments and understand code requirements.
• Attention to detail and autonomy.
• Ability to work well with others and maintain a positive attitude.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Ability to pass background, drug, and MVR screenings.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, tests, and maintains security projects.
• Serves as the face of Evergreen to customers onsite with top-notch service and product training.
• Ensures safety through compliance with State and Federal regulations.
• Handles service orders and project administration.
• Performs follow-up to ensure client readiness for inspection.
