Job summary

Evergreen Fire and Security is seeking a Traveling Electronic Security Systems Technician to join our team. You will install, test, repair, and maintain security projects while traveling extensively across client sites and interfacing with customers on-site.

Ideal candidates have high school diploma, electrical wiring experience, and ability to obtain government clearance. We offer competitive pay ($30–$45/hr), paid travel perks, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid CPR/First Aid card is required.
• Valid electrician certificate or trainee card is required.
• Electrical wiring experience is required.
• Ability to travel extensively for work.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) are required.
• Good communication skills to interface with customers are required.
• Ability to call and schedule appointments and understand code requirements is required.
• Attention to detail and autonomy are essential.
• Ability to work with others and maintain a positive attitude is essential.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of minimum liability insurance required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random background, drug, and MVR screenings.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, tests, and maintains security projects.
• Serves as the face of Evergreen to customers onsite with great service and training.
• Ensures safety by complying with State and Federal regulations.
• Handles service orders and project administration.
• Performs follow-up to ensure the client is ready for inspection.
