Job summary

Evergreen Fire and Security is seeking a Traveling Electronic Security Systems Technician. This role is ideal for an experienced low-voltage technician who loves to travel and interface with customers on various job sites.

You will install, test, and maintain security systems while representing Evergreen with professionalism. The position requires willingness to travel, a valid electrician credential or trainee card, and the ability to coordinate with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid electrician certificate or trainee card is required.
• Ability to travel extensively.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of minimum liability insurance.
• Must pass pre-employment and ongoing random background, drug, and MVR screenings.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) are expected.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, tests, and maintains security projects.
• Serves as the face of Evergreen to customers onsite, providing service and product training.
• Ensures safety through compliance with relevant State and Federal regulations.
• Handles service orders and project administration.
• Performs follow-up to ensure the client is ready for inspection.
