Job summary

Kiewit Energy U.S. is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead field supervision, coordinating with foremen and labor teams to ensure drawings and specifications are followed. The role emphasizes cost control, scheduling, safety, and strong client relations on-site.

The ideal candidate will mentor junior staff, manage subcontractor communications, and drive project turnover with a focus on quality and efficiency. Travel opportunities may be available as projects require.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction experience with 5+ years in a superintendent/leadership role.
• Self-starter with motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; effective in negotiations and planning.
• Familiar with Kiewit policies, procedures and software; able to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and develop Jr. Superintendents.
• Review and approve labor rates for foremen, journeymen and laborers.
• Manage contract administration and communications with subcontractors and site staff.
• Develop programs to maintain positive client relations on site.
• Attend client meetings for issue resolution and planning.
• Oversee monthly cost updates and quarterly cash flow projections.
• Review, approve, and negotiate change orders.
• Plan project completion and turnover.
