Job summary

JSET Automated Technologies in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Traveling Site Superintendent to lead field execution on data center and industrial construction projects across the United States. This hands-on leadership role directs foremen, technicians, and subcontractors, coordinates crews and site logistics, and ensures work is completed safely, on schedule, and to project requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of electrical, industrial, controls, or construction experience.
• 2+ years in a Superintendent, General Foreman, or similar leadership role.
• Experience managing multiple crews and subcontractors on active projects.
• Strong understanding of construction means and methods.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and project docs.
• Strong OSHA and construction safety knowledge.
• Experience with manpower planning, scheduling, and productivity management.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel full-time as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations on active construction projects.
• Direct foremen, technicians, and subcontractors.
• Establish daily and weekly work plans and priorities.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and site logistics.
• Monitor productivity, schedule performance, and labor utilization.
• Conduct jobsite walks and resolve field issues.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Generate RFIs and support project documentation.
• Enforce safety, quality, and company procedures.
• Conduct QA/QC inspections and verify work.
• Coordinate material deliveries, inventory, and tool accountability.
• Approve timecards and labor reporting accuracy.
• Partner with Project Managers to ensure successful execution.
