Position: Traveling Electrical Superintendent

Owen Electric is currently seeking Traveling Superintendents for several upcoming projects in Florida. Traveling Superintendents receive per diem, a company vehicle, gas card, devices, and a full, generous benefits package. Salary ranges from $90,000 to $150,000 annually, based on experience, including per diem.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the safe installation of electrical systems from power distribution, rough-in, trim, finish work, to final punch phases.
2. Install, alter, and repair electrical systems and equipment for large-scale commercial and multifamily projects.
3. Review project documents, drawings, wiring diagrams, manuals, specifications, blueprints, and schedule work activities accordingly.
4. Layout project work and ensure availability of materials, tools, and equipment to meet project schedules.
5. Complete essential paperwork such as material requests, timesheets, safety, and incident reports.
6. Manage electrical materials, tools, and equipment on-site.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent managing commercial electrical projects from start to finish.
• Proven track record of completing multi-million-dollar projects on or below budget, within scope and schedule.
• Recent work history as an Electrical Superintendent on large-scale projects.
• Deep knowledge of NEC, local codes, industry standards, and safety requirements.
• Experience with tools and equipment like wire tugger, conduit benders, lifts, KO sets, backhoes, trencher, mini-excavators, and generators.
• Excellent communication skills with management, staff, contractors, vendors, and clients.
• Flexibility to work long hours or weekends as needed to maintain project schedules.
• Ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions.
• Must be able to work with tools as needed and bring projects in on or below labor budget.
• AHCA experience is a plus. Master Electrician License required. 30-Hour OSHA Certification required. CPR/First Aid preferred.
