Job summary

Muth Electric, Inc. is seeking an experienced Traveling Electrical Superintendent to lead electrical construction projects across our footprint.

You will manage field operations, supervise crews, ensure safety standards, and keep projects on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in electrical construction with supervisory experience and holds a Journeyman or Master Electrician license.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical construction experience, including supervisory experience.
• Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Supervise foremen, electricians, and subcontractors.
• Manage workforce assignments and jobsite resources.
• Ensure OSHA compliance, safety plans, and electrical codes.
• Inspect work for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field teams.
• Review drawings, schedules, and material requirements.
• Lead crews, assign tasks, and maintain productivity standards.
• Provide training, guidance, and support to field personnel.
• Troubleshoot issues and communicate project concerns or improvement opportunities.
• Ensure installation of power, lighting, controls, fire alarm, instrumentation, and related systems meets company and industry standards.
