Job summary

Muth Electric Inc is recruiting a Traveling Electrical Superintendent to lead electrical construction projects across our footprint. This role ensures field operations, supervises crews, maintains safety standards, and keeps projects on schedule and within budget.

The ideal candidate has extensive electrical construction and supervisory experience, along with a Journeyman Electrician license and OSHA familiarity; strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical construction experience, including supervisory experience.
• Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Supervise foremen, electricians, and subcontractors.
• Manage workforce assignments and jobsite resources.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, safety plans, and electrical codes.
• Inspect work to verify quality and adherence to project specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field teams.
• Review drawings, schedules, and material requirements.
• Lead crews, assign tasks, and maintain productivity standards.
• Provide training, guidance, and support to field personnel.
• Troubleshoot issues and communicate project concerns or improvement opportunities.
• Ensure installation of power, lighting, controls, fire alarm, instrumentation, and related systems meets company and industry standards.
