Job summary

Premise Inc. is seeking a Traveling Electrical Journeyworker Foreman to oversee electrical projects across multiple sites in Minneapolis, MN. The role combines field leadership with technical supervision to keep tasks on schedule and on budget, while ensuring safety and quality.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of foreman experience, an active Minnesota Electrical License, and strong reading of drawings and SOWs. Travel up to 100% and per diem may apply.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related foreman experience in construction or electrical trade.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, NEC code, and safe work practices.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and SOWs.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily tasks per SOW and manage crew and subcontractors.
• Monitor schedule, budget, safety, and scope changes and report observations.
• Communicate daily goals and delegate tasks according to skill set.
• Submit required reports (JSA, inspections, audits, receipts).
• Approve daily time sheets and coordinate with Construction Manager.
• Enforce PPE usage and safety plans; ensure site cleanliness and safety.
• Inspect and manage tools, equipment, and materials at site.
• Lead staff by planning, training, and performance coaching.
