Job summary

Premise Inc. is seeking a Traveling Electrical Journeyworker Foreman to oversee sites and construction tasks, lead crews and subs, and ensure projects meet safety, schedule and budget targets.

The role requires strong reading of drawings, NEC knowledge, and effective communication with customers. The position entails extensive travel (up to 100%), with per diem potentially provided under the company policy.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related experience as a Foreman in a similar business.
• Minnesota electrical license or reciprocal state license required.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, schematics and SOW.
• Knowledge of NEC, electrical systems, installations and designs.

Responsibilities

• Direct the completion of daily tasks per SOW.
• Lead crew and subcontractors to meet schedule, budget and quality.
• Communicate daily goals and delegate tasks by skill level.
• Submit required reports and documents (JSA, receipts, inspections).
• Approve daily time sheets and coordinate with Construction Manager.
• Ensure safety plans are followed and PPE worn.
• Verify materials on site and manage inventory at project start/end.
• Lead staff supervision, training, and performance reviews.
