Job summary

EC Electric is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for its National Tech Systems team. The role involves coordinating across multiple jobsites nationwide, supporting project management and field staff, and maintaining documentation such as submittals and RFIs.

The position may base outside the regional office and requires collaboration with PMs, PX, and subcontractors. You will assist with schedules, change orders, and ensuring timely billings and payments, while reading electrical drawings and

• Assist with managing project documentation including submittals, RFIs, and meeting minutes.
• Support supervision and directing project activities and coordination.
• Maintain change orders, submittals, and document control logs.
• Assist with ensuring timely project billings and payments to subs.
• Read and understand electrical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate documentation, submittals, RFIs, and meeting minutes.
• Assist PM/PX with subcontractor interactions and Owner Manuals.
• Create Job Information Sheets and establish job files.
• Support payroll coordination and budget setup in Viewpoint.
• Provide temporary supervision in PM's absence.
