Job summary

CVS Health is seeking District Support Pharmacists to cover scheduling gaps across stores within the district, under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager and District Leader. You will support pharmacy teams and be the manager’s proxy during bench shifts when needed.

In this role you will travel to assigned stores, oversee dispensing, safety procedures, and patient care, including immunizations, and coach staff to deliver compassionate service while upholding quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable district radius to support market staffing as needed.
• Oversee the pharmacy and serve as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures and safety guardrails.
• Assume Pharmacy Manager’s duties when serving as the primary pharmacist on duty.
• Contribute to positive patient experiences by coaching the team in compassionate care and resolving issues.
