PDS Health is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians and deliver the Perfect Patient Experience. You will prepare patients, assist with procedures, and maintain infection control in a fast-paced dental office in Florida.

The role emphasizes teamwork, effective communication, and courteous patient interactions, with opportunities for skill growth across specialty areas and daily huddles. Dental assisting certification and valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED and required state training for certification, licensure, or registration.
• Dental assisting certification as mandated by the state.
• Must have valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance and be willing to travel to multiple offices.
• Excellent communication and patient service skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for treatment and assist the dentist to enable efficient, quality dental care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatory in accordance with infection control guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, sterile and cheerful environment.
• Record patient charting in the digital patient chart as directed by the clinician.
• Support patient care by presenting treatment records, consents and health history to clinician before treatment.
