Job summary

360Care seeks a Dental Assistant who travels to long term care facilities to support physicians with dental care. You will maintain EMR records, manage dental equipment and inventory, and assist with patient education while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

You will balance patient flow, pass instruments, and help optimize daily schedules across facilities. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential for delivering quality care and customer service.

Qualifications

• High School education or GED required.
• Medical/Dental Assistant experience preferred.
• Must have own reliable transportation and valid driving license.
• Must pass a two-step TB skin test.
• Hepatitis B vaccination preferred.
• Must hold a state radiation license or certificate.
• Good computer skills and medical terminology experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctor with patient care in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and histories via EMR.
• Ensure documentation integrity and post dental charges timely.
• Update odontogram for each patient encounter.
• Pass instruments to dentist and maintain treatment area.
• Manage dental equipment maintenance and preventive tasks.
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene.
• Coordinate with branch office to optimize schedule and reporting.
• Travel up to 100% within a 2.5 hour radius; ensure HIPAA compliance.
