Job summary

360Care is seeking a Dental Assistant to visit long-term care facilities and support physicians with dental care. You will maintain clinical records in EMR, assist with instrument passing, dental radiographs, and patient education.

The role requires travel up to 100% within a 2.5-hour radius and strict HIPAA/OSHA compliance. Ideal candidates have dental/medical assistant experience, a high school diploma or GED, reliable transportation, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School education or GED.
• Medical/Dental Assistant experience preferred.
• Must have own reliable transportation and car insurance.
• Must have completed TB test (two-step).
• Hepatitis B vaccination preferred.
• State radiation license or certificate required.
• Good computer skills and medical terminology experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions and listen to patients and doctors.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist with patient care in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and medical history via EMR.
• Assist in obtaining and processing digital dental radiographs.
• Prepare and pass instruments to the dentist during procedures.
• Maintain treatment area and ensure cleanliness of equipment.
• Manage dental supplies inventory and order as needed.
• Ensure HIPAA/OSHA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Travel up to 100% within a 2.5 hour radius as required.
