Job summary

360care is seeking a Dental Assistant to support physicians in long-term care facilities. You will maintain clinical records in EMR, assist with patient care, prepare instruments, and help manage dental radiographs and education on oral hygiene.

Travel is required, up to 100% within a 2.5 hour radius. Responsibilities include ensuring HIPAA compliance, OSHA guidelines, and accurate posting of charges while maintaining equipment and supplies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Medical/Dental Assistant experience preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation and clean driving record.
• Two-step TB test completed.
• State radiation license or certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist with patient care and maintain accuracy of EMR.
• Prepare instruments and pass to dentist as needed.
• Maintain treatment areas and equipment with proper cleaning.
• Update odontogram and dental radiographs.
• Balance daily production reports and post charges.
• Ensure HIPAA and OSHA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Travel to facilities within a 2.5 hour radius.
